Duval County – Jacksonville, Florida

Interior buildout of a $36 million-dollar solar panel manufacturing facility. Hoffman Commercial Construction was the Construction Manager for Jinko Solar and MGI on this project. Jinko Solar is a Chinese based company and the largest manufacturer of solar panels in the world.

Project involved tenant build out of a 300K s.f. shell building. New mechanical, electrical, warehouse and office area to support three production lines. Challenges were numerous, from the communication and cultural difference between Chinese client and local subcontractors. To working around the 250-foot-long production line equipment being installed parallel with construction.
